Quality is non-negotiable
SCP employs a full-time quality-control team whose members hold qualifications in the disciplines of food science and technology as well as analytical chemistry, and have between them more than 40 years’ experience in the beverage industry.
The team has high-tech chemical and microbiological analytical laboratories at its disposal. Testing starts when new raw materials are delivered to the factory to ensure they conform to the agreed specifications. Thereafter testing continues during every stage of production. Quality parameters like sugar content, acidity, colour and clarity are continuously monitored. The microbiological status of aseptically packed product is verified internally with microbiological compliance confirmed before release.
